BUILDING THE U.S. PIPELINE: RAIDERS NAME BINING AND DORAN TO LEAD RECRUITMENT

The Raiders Jr. A Lacrosse Club is proud to announce Gary Bining and Justin Doran as Co-Directors of American Scouting, further strengthening the organization’s commitment to identifying and recruiting top U.S. talent.

Gary Bining 

Gary brings a wealth of experience as both a player and a scout. He starred with the Burnaby Jr. A Lakers from 2001–2003, capturing a Minto Cup championship in 2002, and went on to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Ohio State University, serving as team captain in 2006. His playing career continued at the senior level with the Coquitlam Adanacs and professionally with the Boston Blazers of the NLL.

In recent years, Gary has established himself as a respected Division I scout, known for his ability to evaluate and mentor emerging talent.

Justin Doran

Joining him as Co-Director is Justin Doran, a native of Long Island, New York—one of the true hotbeds of American lacrosse. Justin earned recognition at the high school level before continuing his career at Ohio State University, competing at the Division I level.

He is well-versed in today’s American game, with strong connections in both collegiate lacrosse and several prominent high school club programs. His firsthand experience and deep understanding of the U.S. lacrosse landscape make him a valuable asset to the Raiders program.

Together, Bining and Doran will lead the club’s American scouting efforts, building relationships and identifying NCAA-level talent.
